Yesterday I watched an interesting – in terms of nice landscape images – documentary about the Rocky Mountains. Actually it was only the first part of it, there are two more to come. The second part is supposed to air tonight, but I was wondering about the third part. Not too problematic to find out, one would think. Especially as at the end of the documentary there was a URL given: www.dierockies.de. Not that I have any clue why on earth a seperate domain is needed for it, but anyhow, at least I should be able to find the times when the different parts are going to be aired, right?

After some time, another Quiz, spotted over at Knutsens Blog:
 | You scored as agnosticism. You are an agnostic. Though it is generally taken that agnostics neither believe nor disbelieve in God, it is possible to be a theist or atheist in addition to an agnostic. Agnostics don't believe it is possible to prove the existence of God (nor lack thereof).
Agnosticism is a philosophy that God's existence cannot be proven. Some say it is possible to be agnostic and follow a religion; however, one cannot be a devout believer if he or she does not truly believe.

After having seen Casino Royale, we decided to walk from the Potsdamer Platz to the main station to catch the S-Bahn there. It is not that far and some fresh air was good after sitting in the cinema for over three hours. Anyhow, approaching the main station we noticed the visual effects:
There are also some stars on the other side, but they were not functioning. Will they have eggs for easter?
I thought I would not manage to see the new Bond in the cinema, missed it in the first week and then I wasn't motivated enough to go alone, but it worked out tonight. Two colleagues and me went to the Cinestar at the Potsdamer Platz to see the original version. Not exactly cheap with 6.50€ – they have an interesting pricing policy: the seats in the rearward half cost extra – but okay. The other 6something€ for a coke and some candy on the other hand... Anyhow. After 45 minutes of commercials (new record for me) and a ice-cream vending intermission after the commercials (that really ought to die out) the trailers started.
Apparently Spiderman3 is going to appear soon, maybe I should finally get around to see part 2. Otherwise nothing too interesting was trailered. So after close to an hour after the written time on the ticket the movie started.

We are in midst the pre-Christmas period. It's not actually feeling much like it weather-wise, but nonetheless, there will be this feasting under a coniferous tree, or at least close to it. A couple of things come with that: Thinking about presents – see e.g. Mela's series on present ideas, if you still need some – drinking mulled wine or preferably mead, writing Season's Greetings. Okay, the last thing I don't do, but if you do it and are wondering what cards to get, search no more: Hubblesite has a selection of wonderful cards for you to print out; either by yourself or at a photo shop. My favourite one is the leaved Hubble Ultra Deep Field.
